The Pink Noise Art Appeal
This month, I took part in the Pink Noise Art Appeal, wherein the beautiful and inspiring Katie Robinson mobilised a huge number of artists to donate a piece of artwork to be auctioned off, to raise money for Christchurch. Last December’s First Thursday’s exhibit had been a huge success, with close to 900 people in attendance. 8 incredible artists, 2 dance performances by a Brazillian mardi gras troupe and a hip hop crew, George FM and Sola Rosa on the deck the whole night, flowing Mac’s Isaac’s Cider. It was a great night. Heaps of art got sold too, including my biggest painting. Sold!...
